This is the homepage of PhD course Statistical methods for the Biosciences I, block 2, 2020 given by the Data Science Laboratory hosted by the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Department of Computer Science. This homepage contains different sorts of information and material such as course plans, slides, exercises and R files.

Course information and material

• Credits: 4.5 ECTS.
• Software: Install R (www.r-project.org/ ) and RStudio (www.rstudio.com). Both programs are free and open source. You may learn more and download the programs from the homepages.
• Book: Martinussen, Skovgaard, Sørensen: A first guide to statistical computations in R, Biofolia 2012, ISBN 978-87-913-1956-3. Your old textbook on introductory statistics (whatever that is) might also be usefull.
